A THUG jailed for life for killing an angler was found dead in his cell.

Lenny Crawt was convicted in March 2019, aged just 18, of the murder of Scott Wilkinson in July 2016.
Scott, 48, was on a fishing session on the River Thames near Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
Crawt’s brother, Shane Crawt, and cousin, Charlie Smith, were also convicted of involvement in the killing, in which Scott was beaten to death with a plank of wood.
The trio all denied any involvement, and at their trial attempted to blame each other for Wilkinson’s death.

Crawt was found dead in his cell at Aylesbury Young Offender Institution, in Buckinghamshire, by staff.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A prison service spokesperson said: “As with all deaths in custody, there will be an independent investigation by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.”
