TWO different catfish both just shy of the magic ton mark have amazingly come out to the same angler during one 48-hour session. Yes, here in Britain - not over in Spain!
It was a highly productive visit all round on an Essex day ticket water for Catfish Pro consultant Dean Aldridge.
Dean managed to land nine moggies in all, with fish of 20 lb, 43 lb, 53 lb, 54 lb, two of 63 lb and one at 64 lb to add to those pictured at 99 lb 9 oz and 99 lb 10 oz.
The 50-year-old from Bromley, South East London, said: “The 99s were clearly two different fish. Some of the lads said I was unlucky, but I think personally I had a lucky two nights!”
