SURVEYOR Neil Zennadi had a battle on his hands when he had to play this 83 lb sturgeon for an hour at New Celtic Lake Fishery in Lampeter, west Wales.
Bristol-based Neil offered Probaits Squid and Orange boilies bait-boated tight to the rear rushes on 6 inch DF Rig with pellets and ten freebies.
Neil said: “The sturgeon had me up to my neck in the water and down to the backing on my Daiwa big pits. Unbelievable fight and cracking way to the top a good year. I also had a 38 lb catfish.”
