STEVE FINDLAY tempted the equal biggest pike of the autumn from Chew Valley in Somerset with this 39 lb beast.

Framfield, East Sussex-based Steve smashed his old pike personal best of 28 lb 8 oz caught from Ardingly Reservoir.
It was his fourth visit to the challenging but rewarding Chew Valley Lake, and he scored using a popped-up mackerel head.
The catch won Steve a weekly Korum Specimen Cup prize from Angler’s Mail printed magazine.
