THE two sons of murdered tackle dealer Jackie Abbott (pictured) are to open up their own shop on the same industrial estate as the one run by their parents.

As we reported, dad Paul has been told by a judge he is facing a life sentence after admitting killing his wife after a row at home last December. He is due to get his official sentence soon.
But sons Martyn, 24, and Ryan, 21, are setting up their own shop in loving memory of their mum and are calling it JMR Tackle after their three names.
The previous shop was J and P Tackle four units away – their new address is Unit 8, Enterprise Retail Park, Hurst Lane, Brierley Hill, West Midlands DY5 1TX.
And to kick start it they are having an official opening day on their late mum’s birthday on Saturday, April 16.
Friends and trade support sons’ shop
Close friend of the family Jim Burton of Matchbox Tackle is helping the lads sort out the opening day along with Helen Chaplain of Svendsen Sports as they bid to turn tragedy into a new start for the lads.
Jim said: “I’ve know them for ages and nobody can quite comprehend what happened. Paul was such a nice, giving guy that everyone is still in shock.
“I think the lease was up in the old shop and it wasn’t going so well and they couldn’t make it work so it must have put a lot of stress on.
“But everyone in the trade is helping the boys so much get their life back on tack and give them something to concentrate on.
“Their new shop is coming along well and they will be officially opening on Jacky’s birthday which is such a nice touch.
“We’ll be getting local radio down there and a host of celebrities coming and the likes of Preston Innovations, Garbolino, Korda, Guru, Shakespeare, MAP, Marukyu, and Matchbox will be having representatives there on the day,” he added.
The lads said: “Come and see our brand new shop on our official opening day. Get all the latest fishing advice from the likes of Neil Spooner from Korda/Guru, Chris Holmes from Trakker and the England Carp Team.
“There will be great offers on the day with more to be announced, like our Facebook page to receive more updates.”
