BRETT LONGTHORNE notched up his fourth impressive personal best fish in three weeks with this 15 lb 6 oz bream.

Brett followed a good run of River Trent big fish with the giant bream, pictured above, from a lake.
Targetting a low stock North West stillwater where he had a then PB bream of 14 lb 9 oz in early summer, Brett had started for carp before switching tactics.
Manchester-based Brett explained: “After seeing bream fizzing and rolling on Friday night and Saturday daytime, I made the decision to target them.
“I switched to a 10 mm yellow 3 Foot Twitch Redemption pop-up, a tight bed of pellets and some 10 mm boilies with a 1 oz lead wrapped in matching paste.
“At 1.30am on Sunday morning I had a pick up and instantly knew I was into one of these big bream. To say I was buzzing would be an understatement,” he added.
