In just six hours he notched 16 big crucian carp weighing between 2 lb 8 oz and a PB of 3 lb 10 oz in a great mixed haul.
Bramley, Hampshire-based Ron fished helicopter rigs baited with double red maggot and a feeder filled with Sticky Baits Krill groundbait.
He added a dozen tench to 4 lb plus some quality rudd at the club water that holds the official British crucian record at 4 lb 10 oz.
