RICHARD HASKELL tempted one of the biggest catfish from historic Withy Pool in Bedfordshire with this 98 lb beauty.
The senior account manager from Buntingford, Hertfordshire, freelined four large pellets with a 2/0 hook to a 40lb braided trace and 15 lb main line.
The water was the No.1 catfish water in the 1980s and 90s after being created by Kevin Maddocks and held the British record until the species was taken off the official list.
