THE Environment Agency has taken its river fishing Close Season review into a public consultation - and we have the link to it here, so you can make your views known.

The thorny topic of a river fishing Close Season was put to a sample survey of 20,000 anglers last summer, but only a quarter of those people responded.
This time everyone can have their say – before March 11.
That sample survey’s results showed 33 per cent said they wanted the March 15 to June 15 river fishing Close Season lifted.
A majority of 43 per cent wanted retain the river fishing Close Season.
Another 17 per cent want to retain a close season but change the start/finish dates.
The remaining 7 per cent were undecided.
Now, with the public consultation live, the EA are also looking into the option of changing the river fishing Close Season from April 15 to June 30.
The consultation paper can be found HERE.
